THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS:
The topical treatment of:
- muscle and joint pain after the injury (contusions, dislocations, strains etc),
- inflammatory conditions of soft tissues (tendinitis, inflammation of ligaments and joints),
- osteoarthritis.
POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
NAPROXEN PLUS should be applied topically to the dry skin 2 to 6 times daily every several hours. The amount of applied gel should be adjusted to the size of the lesion area, most often it is recommended to apply approximately 4 cm long strip of the gel. After the application, spread the gel over the affected area and massage gently until complete absorption. After the application one should wash the hands if the treatment does not include them.
The medicinal product should not be covered with dressings such as bandages and sticking plasters.
Children: Neoxen is recommended for children older then 3 years old.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to:
- the active substance - naproxen or to any of the excipients of the medicinal product,
- salicylates and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (including acetylsalicylic acid).
Do not use if the patient has the inflammation conditions, injury of the skin or open wounds.
Do not use in children below 3 years old.
QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION:
Active substance: Naproxen (Naproxenum) 100 mg/g.
Excipients: choline chloride, chloral hydrate, levomenthol, ethanol 96%, carbomer, trolamine, Nipaguard MPA, Winterminth 7201, purified water.
